Leny Luna-Cardona has been passionate about health ever since completing her Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry 20 years ago. She studied Exercise Physiology at the "Alas Peruanas" Institute in her home country, Peru, and became a personal trainer shortly after. Through her years of experience and studies, she learned the fundamental role that exercise plays in people's health.
After being injured in a car accident, Leny became interested in the Pilates Method by using this technique in her rehabilitation process, which benefited her recovery. Therefore, she felt inspired to share her knowledge to help others improve their quality of life by becoming a Pilates instructor at The Pilates Coach in 2005.
Despite facing language barriers once moving to New Jersey, Leny persevered by obtaining her physical therapy assistant (PTA) degree and license in 2014. She worked as a PTA for eight years and integrated Pilates techniques into her physical therapy practice. Later, she pursued to obtain her Massage Therapy license, adopted better self-care techniques and established Cords of Love LLC in 2022.
Leny's professional background is excellent for people seeking to understand the benefits of combining Pilates techniques and core strength with Massage Therapy. It's essential to avoid developing chronic conditions, which are prone to form when working long hours in front of a screen or exercising incorrectly at the gym.
Leny wishes to use her knowledge to offer relief to those experiencing chronic conditions like low-back pain or orthopedic conditions by curating the most appropriate treatment based on their specific needs.

Brian became a massage therapist because he wanted to be able to assist people in their own healing journey. After seeing the vast improvements he received with massage, he was intrigued to begin learning in this field. After earning his license for massage therapy in 2019 at Therapeutic Massage & Training Center in Westfield, NJ, he went on to further his studies with trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue, holistic nutrition, and other alternative therapies.
His goals for a therapeutic session are listening to the needs of the client and allowing the body to move more freely thus facilitating the body’s own wisdom. By inducing a parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous system response the body is encouraged into homeostasis. Bodywork has been shown to improve sleep, remove toxins, improve circulation, and increase overall health to the entire system.
In his free time, Brian loves spending time in nature. He feels connected and grounded by being surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors. In this stillness, he is able to replenish himself, meditate and find clarity. In addition, he also loves doing research to further his personal growth.
